Meet your 2023/24 Exec Team
The Astronomy Club at York University is a club organized by York University students and is dedicated to helping people learn new and interesting things about astronomy. At bi-weekly meetings, ACYU attendees may get the chance to listen to a guest speaker with a professional astronomical background present an interesting topic in astronomy, and get the opportunity to ask the speaker questions, go on special trips of astronomical significance, go to star parties, and more! Come get to meet people with like interests that share love for all things Astronomy related, from astrophotography, to science fiction, and cutting edge Astronomy research.
The Astronomy club at york university (ACYU) is open to all peoples, not just Yorku students!

Hey there, I'm Josh but the cool kids sometimes call me June. I am the Web and technology exec for ACYU; I've held this position in previous years and this is my seventh year as a member of ACYU. I'm a graduate student in Physics and Astronomy studying under professor Sarah Rugheimer. Astronomy, physics, and technology is my life; as is ACYU.
