ACYU Welcomes Dr. Brian Nord From Fermilab!
ACYU has exciting news! Dr. Brian Nord from Fermilab will be giving a talk this Wednesday (January 27, 2016) on Cosmic Acceleration. If you are not aware, Fermilab is a laboratory located in the U.S.A. that specializes in high-energy particle physics. Up until 2011, it carried the world's second largest energy particle accelerator. Cool, right?!
With all that said, Dr. Nord will be discussing the dark forces that are currently shaping our universe. From the cosmic web, to gravity, to dark matter, to dark energy—he will be taking us on a cosmic adventure!
