This Wednesday Nov. 22nd join us for a talk from PhD student George Conidis on the "Social Habit of Galaxies".

Most galaxies enjoy the company of other galaxies and organize into various shapes known as the “cosmic web.” Many of them also like to spin – creating beautiful, stellar disks. PhD student George Conidis examines copies our own galaxy, The Milky Way, and its friends to try and understand the social habits of disk galaxies by investigating how they spin.

The event will be hosted at PSE 317 from 6PM to 8PM. Free pizza and pop will be provided for all members!
