Allan I. Carswell Observatory tour event

ACYU will be hosting our long awaited observatory tour this upcoming Wednesday (November 23rd, 2022) starting at 6:30PM. This event will start at the observatories telescope site on top of the Arboretum/ William Small center (location details below), and then later migrate to the third floor of the Petrie building for a astronomy games and pizza party. Due to the weather dependence on the outdoor portion of this event, we have a back-up tour of the main observatory domes connected to the Petrie building planned if there is undesirable weather on the day of the event. The games and pizza party will continue regardless. Details of which tour will be occurring will be emailed and posted here and on social media on the day of by 1pm.

PIZZA PARTY

IF THE WEATHER IS POOR, WE WILL MAKE A CALL AT 1 PM ON WED 23RD VIA EMAIL AND POSTS. THE TOUR WILL BE SWITCHED TO INDOORS IN THE MAIN OBSERVATORY ITSELF!

If there is increment weather we will let you all know and switch to this alternate location.
